More A1E Talk

clicky clicky

This was actually one of the best Warfares in a good long while. They seemed to be booking with a purpose, building angles the right way.

The only qualm I have with it is Spoiler winning the Cyber Title. In character, the Emerald Belt is above Spoils, and it really doesn't help Eddie Weston in the short or long run either. Honestly, I think everyone would have been okay with a DQ or countout finish, letting Eddie keep the title and have Spoiler look strong without him taking up the title almost unnecessarily.

Other than that though, it was a very solid show, good builds all around, especially for Hida/Fly and the HPSC vs. the World feuds.

Unless Dan felt the same way you did, and sent anything to us saying "I don't want Spoiler to walk out as Cyber Champion", I don't think we would've had any right to do that.

Given the role Dan has been on with Spoiler, he would have had to know that winning against Eddie was a high possibility.

Hard to say. Do we force Dan to come to us, or do we go to Dan? I would have probably asked him as soon as we booked the match to see if he was interested in winning it.

Of course, I talk to him as much as anybody, and I didn't do it either. So I've got no room to talk.

I actually considered sending a note to the BC and looking to find a way to angle out of the belt.

But given the fact thare there are probably several others wititng ahead of me in the "world title contender" line, I really don't have an issue with Spoiler toting araound a secondary title for a bit.

Just so long as the BC realizez that Spoiler's approach to winning the belt will be played more along the lines of him sweeping up everything in his path more than him being thrilled to finally be a Cber champ.
