Holla! NFW Survivor Series!

clicky clicky

In the fedhead report card, it was noted that McNic was omitted from most of the praise I heaped on NFW. This was a major oversight, as he does a great job both with administration and matchwriting in the East.

The Survivor Series match is no exception. With all the different angles entwined into the match, it could have been easy to write a match that was choppy and disjointed, just a piecemeal of angles. But Mike incorporated everyone's story and had action that flowed excellently. Written as well as any tag match I've ever seen and a strong, early candidate for MOTY.

Plus, there are Shatner and Southern sightings. Read the show, enjoy the show!

The match was great, but the booking leaves something to be desired because with the way the ending is done, unless Doc gets his revenge against Felix and retains, Doc comes off looking badly getting out smarted and beaten twice in a row.

I don't know...

Personally, I loved how Doc finally has shown some cracks in the armor. It only took a decade to get there. ;)

The World Champion isn't Superman though. Nor should he be made to look like it.

Honestly, I thought Doc came out looking good in the match too.

I agree World Champions shouldn't be Supermen, but ultimately, it should balance out and the season is close to finished.

The season is close to finished?

Week 9
Week 10
Wild Card
Divisional
Conference Championship
Wrestlebowl Night 1
Wrestlebowl Night 2

That's 7 different shows...at least.

Yeah like Doc is going to beat Felix Red in the playoffs as payback, Felix Red has a greater chance of becoming a straight edge character ;-> I'd even be willing to wager on it which is saying something since my wallet sees less daylight than Jack Benny's vault. ;->

Doc might beat him next week, or yes...he might beat him in the playoffs. We don't predict the future at NFW, except in regards to sexual deviance and our offensive nature.

Doc hasn't lost a singles match this year, and as far as I know -- nobody ever got revenge on Doc for all the things he's done. Is it his time to feel this? I don't know... Is he lulling Felix? I don't know.

I don't know what Stanton, McNichols or Barry are cooking up...but we'll find out soon enough.
